USABA 2nd Annual Winter Ski Festival
with Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports

We invite you to be our guest at USABA's Second Annual ski festival hosted in Killington VT. Take the following steps to reserve your spot at this ski event open to all ages and designed with you in mind, our blind and visually impaired athletes. USABA with the support of the Gibney Family Foundation will cover ALL of your lift tickets, ski rentals, and guide costs!

REGISTER as a current USABA member
- Call us at (719) 630-0422 or go to www.usaba.org/membership to become a member or renew your membership. The cost is $25 for athletes 18 and younger and $35 for adult members.

BOOK a room at Mendon Mountain View, Mendon VT
- Call direct to book a room for your family or ski guide. The direct reservation number is: (802) 773- 4311.
- Mention you will be a part of the Martin Luther King Ski weekend with Vermont Adaptive and USABA

SEND us a check and we'll provide your meals
-The cost is $100 (made payable to USABA, 33 N. Institute, Colorado Springs , CO 80903 ).
- Included are lunch each day at the resort, a Friday pizza reception and a banquet dinner Saturday Night.

RESERVE a flight
-If you fly into Burlington , Vermont Adaptive will provide your ground transportation for the entire ski festival, from the time your flight lands until the moment you step back onto the plane.
-Flights looking a little pricey? Call the USABA office and we'll tell you how you could qualify for a scholarship through U.S. Paralympics that covers the cost of your airfare.

DECIDE what kind of skier you'd like to become
-Download our attached application form and customize your weekend to fit your ski needs and goals.
-You can choose from Nordic or alpine skiing, and between learning to ski and learning to race.

The United States Association of Blind Athletes, a member organization of the U.S. Olympic Committee, is a non-profit organization that provides training for blind and visually impaired athletes for competition in nine sports. USABA members range from blind children developing sports skills to elite athletes who train for competitions such as the Paralympic Games, which continually draws more than 4,000 disabled athletes.
