The 11th Annual USABA Breakfast with Champions is going virtual on Friday, October 30.
After holding the previous 10 editions of the Breakfast With Champions in-person in Colorado Springs, we are excited to be able to reach many more individuals with this year’s important fundraiser and to share our mission and the stories of our athletes with a wider audience.
The program begins at 8:30 a.m. MDT and promises to be equally entertaining, educational and inspiring, with four-time Paralympic silver medalist Lex Gillette as the keynote speaker.
We’ll also hear from Goalball Paralympic Games medalist Eliana Mason direct from a team practice at the U.S. Paralympic Training Site in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
In addition, because USABA places such an important emphasis on providing sports and recreation opportunities to blind and visually impaired youth…not only those who aspire to be future Paralympians, but also those who want to be active on a daily basis…you’ll also hear from fearless 14-year-old multi-sport athlete Cole Carper of Little Rock, Arkansas. Just wait until you hear Cole’s story, the variety of sports he is active in, and how they play such an important role in the lives of him and his family.
