Reni Jackson

Inducted 2010

Reni Jackson was a member of the Men’s 1984 Paralympic Goalball Team that defeated Egypt and won gold in New York. Jackson played goalball for 15 years, competing in three Paralympic Games and three World Championships. In addition to playing on the court, Jackson briefly coached goalball in 2005. Jackson is also an advocate for adaptive sports; he has said that perseverance, confidence, self-respect, opportunities and health are the main benefits from sports for people who are blind and visually impaired.
