Personal: Daughter of David and Barbara…Has two brothers, Christopher and Kevin…Married to Jake Czechowski, the U.S. Women’s Goalball Head Coach…Has a son, Jay…Born with nystagmus and diagnosed with cone/rod dystrophy in middle school…Learned about goalball in 1995 and attended her first practice in October of that year…Became involved with her club team and was named as an alternated for the Atlanta 1996 Paralympic Games…Made her Team USA debut in goalball and track & field at the 1998 World Championships in Madrid, Spain…Competed in both goalball and track & field at the Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games…Enjoys reading, listening to music, playing board games, shopping, playing sports and playing with her son…Grew up in a house on Banta Lane and her maiden name is Banta…Took part in the 2002 Olympic torch relay for the Olympic Winter Games Salt Lake City, carrying the torch in December of 2001 while it passed through Princeton, New Jersey.
