The U.S. Association of Blind Athletes (USABA) hosted the 2025 Goalball National Championships from August 15–17, 2025 at the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind (CSDB), bringing together the nation’s top talent for a weekend of competition, community, and celebration.
The 2025 Championships not only crowned national champions but also highlighted the passion, perseverance, and camaraderie of the goalball community. With upgraded facilities at CSDB providing an accessible and inspiring backdrop, the tournament showcased the growth of the sport and the athletes who continue to push it forward.
The event welcomed over 100 athletes from across the country and was powered by the dedication of 100 volunteers, underscoring the strength of the goalball community and the growing visibility of blind sports.
Championship Results
Women’s Gold Medal Match:
The all-Atlanta final saw the Atlanta Valkyries capture the championship title over the Atlanta Blazers in a thrilling showdown.
Men’s Gold Medal Match:
The King Cobras edged out the DC Stars in a dramatic overtime victory, securing the gold medal in front of an energized crowd.
