USABA Celebrates 45 Years

Posted February 18, 2021  Uncategorized

The United States Association of Blind Athletes is proud to be celebrating its 45th anniversary in 2021. Over the years, USABA has impacted numerous lives of blind and visually impaired individuals while becoming a vocal champion for the abilities of America’s legally blind residents. We have many exciting activities planned to commemorate our 45th anniversary, so watch for updates in the USABA monthly newsletter, and on the USABA website and social media channels. To formally kick off the celebration, check out our 45th-anniversary video below…

Video description: The video shows a collage of photos…both black & white and color…of blind and visually impaired athletes through the years competing in a variety of sports, such as track & field, judo, wrestling, goalball, beep baseball, cycling, and more. At the end of the video, the still photos morph into the background to form the USABA 45th-anniversary logo in red, white and blue. “45th” is above a red ribbon that says “Anniversary”. Below the ribbon is the USABA logo and “EST. 1976″.
