Eleven teams competed at the 2018 Cascade Classic Goalball tournament this weekend which served as USABA’s first regional tournament of the year.
Gold in the Women’s division went to the Rose City Thorns, second to a pool team combination players from each side of the USA/Canadian border and Arizona Sting finished third.
On the men’s side, BC won their sixth Cascade Classic title in eight years defeating Alberta, 4-2 in the finals. BC2 defeated a Pool team (Joey and the Vets) for bronze. Three new teams, Omaha Mavericks, Tacoma Typhoon and the Seattle King Cobras, made their division two debut at the Classic this year.
