Atlanta, GA Selected as 2015 USABA Goalball National Championships Site

The United States Association of Blind Athletes is pleased to announce that Georgia Blind Sports Association (GBSA) and the City of Atlanta, Georgia will partner to host the 2015 USABA Goalball National Championships. “We are truly excited about the partnership between Georgia Association of Blind Athletes and the City of Atlanta,” said John Potts, USABA Goalball Program Manager. “GBSA is a young organization already doing great things for athletes. USABA Launches New Goalball Resource: In collaboration with the United States Olympic Committee and the USA Men’s and Women’s National Goalball Teams, USABA is proud to announce the implementation of the Team USA Mobile Coach site. Team USA Mobile Coach provides access to drills and resources from USABA and the United States Olympic Committee, complete with diagrams and videos you can use on your desktop computer, iPhone, iPad or Android device. USA Goalball Teams Head To IBSA Championship Competitions

Next week, Team USA Goalball Teams head to Colorado Springs, Colorado to compete in two major championship tournaments sanctioned by the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) and hosted by the United States Association of Blind Athletes (USABA) at Colorado College, July 9-15, 2013.
