2016 Youth Goalball Nationals Results

This weekend, the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (St. Augustine, FL) hosted USABA’s 25th Annual Youth Goalball Nationals. Fifteen teams from across the nation competed for national titles. The games were livestreamed and can be found at [srlink]livestream.com/fsdb/goalball. Florida Cobras, Texas Wildcats and Utah Rage topped the girl’s category, respectively. Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired’s Wildcats also won the Team Sportsmanship Award. New Head Coach Named to U.S. Women’s National Goalball Team

USABA is proud to announce the promotion of U.S. Women’s National Goalball Team's Assistant Coach, Jake Czechowski, to Head Coach. Czechowski succeeds Coach Ken Armbruster who retired effective October 15. Winningest coach in USABA history retires with 4 Paralympic medals after 20 years of service. Colorado Springs, Colo. U.S. Goalball Program Earns Paralympic Podium Finishes in Rio

U.S. Men’s and Women’s Goalball Teams Finish Paralympic Games on the podium for the first time in 12 years. RIO DE JANEIRO (September 22, 2016) – After nine days of competition at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, both U.S. Men’s and Women’s Goalball Teams had podium finishes. U.S. Men fought for silver while the U.S. Women earned a well-deserved bronze.
