2015 IBSA World Youth Goalball Championship Opening Ceremony

The 2015 IBSA World Youth Goalball Championships opened at 7:00pm MT on July 28 at the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs. Eleven teams from seven countries proudly marched in the Parade of Nations at Gallogly Gym. This week, athletes from around the world will compete on an international stage in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA, for the title of World Champion. The 2015 IBSA World Youth Goalball Championship will feature some of the world’s top up and coming athletic talent, many of whom aspire to be Paralympians. USA Goalball Teams Named to Compete in 2015 Parapan American Games

National Goalball Team Head Coaches Ken Armbruster and Mike Legé have named the Women’s and Men’s teams, respectively, who will represent Team USA at the Parapan American Games in Toronto August 8-15, 2015. Both teams will play in a round robin tournament format beginning Sunday, August 9 at 12:45 p.m. EST.
